I liked this less than Oralia's New York story. The brief BDSM content, when it finally came, seemed incongruous with what proceeded it and incidental to the denouement. Having said that, this story was well written and an absorbing read. (7/10)

I think every woman deserves an 'Aunt Jeannie' in her life. - This certainly isn't the wam-bam hot sex and spanking I love reading on this site, but it's still very good - an enjoyable read for the pure pleasure of good writing as much as anything. (9/10)

This was an outstanding story. It had a real plot, and real, developed characters. I will anticipate reading stories by this author. (10/10)

An enchanting story. I don't know if it's true, but it should be. Very well-written, with much convincing detail. The lesbian element is minor and handled very well. (9/10)

OK, this is my theory on this story: I think each of the characters is a portrayal of some aspect of the writer's own persona. The angry, frustrated, aspiring writer husband (aren't we all frustrated aspiring writers?), the main character, who is feeling helpless in her situation and longing for rescue, and Jeannie, who represents the free, fearless and mature individual the author is moving to become. I didn't find this story erotic, despite the nicely done lesbian scene. Maybe I found too many (uncomfortable) corollaries to my own life?? I think this writer is going to be a very fine author as she develops her skills. (7/10)
