Another one of those stories where the abducted woman is reduced to a mute. Only thing we get from Heide are furtive thoughts. Okay, so the story is well written, but as in so many cases, the subject of attention, in this case Heide, seems to be a pre-conceived submissive without any fight nor spirit in her. This might serve the writer's purposes very well, it is totally unrealistic. JJ (7/10)

- Well, you make an interesting point and your review is structured well.
Interestingly enough, all of the characters in my stories are based on people I actually know. I have placed them in situations in stories and written them in a way that I would speculate they might react to the events in the story. Heide (not her real name) is a Scandinavian waitress who has waited on me many times in a diner I frequent. She is a typical stoic Swede and I suspect she would react somewhat in the manner described in the story. But, I could be wrong. On the other hand, all of my stories are somewhat in this style so I would be the first to acknowledge that they are certainly not for everyone. I write the stories to titillate and arouse readers. Perhaps this goal is reached with some readers and not with others. My own opinion is that anyone who seeks much realism in this genre is probably doomed to disappointment. I guess there is some point with a story when its lack of realism is too much to bear. I would also suggest that there are even less realistic portions of the “Caleb” story. The notion that there could be a set of identical triplets who could have these inclinations is really a stretch. But, I had fun with it. Also, although I personally am not into snuff, I had a bit of an inside joke with the “mounted” heads in which one of them seemed to say, “Where’s the rest of me?” That line is from an old Ronald Reagan movie. In any case, I appreciate the time you gave to reading the story and the time you took to write the review.

- Yep, you've also got a point there, regarding the 'unrealistic' thing.
On the other hand, I wonder what you mean with 'your tipical stoic swede'? I've been to sweden a couple of times, and the only Swede I know who's stoic, is Bjorn Borg. But I bet you he'll get rather animated when you kick him in the nuts. JJ

- Thanks for the positive comments. The characters are based on different people I've met from different situations and I've simply put them into the same situation together.
