A very twisted dark story. I wish I lived in a town like this. Having the heroine forced to make reluctant decisions, choosing between the lesser of two evils, knowing that anything she chooses will trap her and her sisters. (10/10)

Somewhat over-the-top in its premise, but so what? It's a fantasy and a well done one. (9/10)

Not enough details, no transition, most of the actions appear on the video tape too shortly. The epilogue is interesting, even if there is no explaination (yet ?) of the McLain/Martin opposition. (6/10)

Ah, Terry. You're so fucking good at characters forced to make reluctant 'choices'. This is a handful of very old themes-- the rapist cop, the town without pity, self-sacrifice to save a younger sibling-- but she reinvents it. I read this about four days ago and it's still fresh. (8/10)
