This story promises more than it can deliver. Same old stuff. (1/10)

Very intense piece about tormenting a woman accused of witchcraft, which manages to sustain itself right through to the end. The cold heartedness of the torturer might turn some people off, but I found it highly exciting and enjoyable. (8/10)

Aside from the glimpses into the girl's pain, I felt as though I was watching a horror movie.
Perhaps the author's intent? Clearly what was done in the name of "God" was horrific.
With an editing refresh and more depth of characters, this story could easily raise a few more points.
Keep up the good work, Faith. Blessed be. (7/10)

The story is interesting, but little things take away from it being really good. Incorrect words, missing words, poor grammar make a story hard to read for many because it breaks concentration, which keeps the reader from getting deeply into it.
More exposition of the thoughts of the girl, the priest and the torturer would help as well, again bringing the reader into the story.
Several things point to some talent in writing, faith. A little more effort, perhaps finding an editor, could make for a really powerful story.
You might check on the name of the head device as well; my resources say "brank". (5/10)

Very well done. You should elaborate and continue. Historical scenes I think make their mark on everyone and this one is fairly well done, although short. (9/10)
