Thanks for taking the time to review the story. I am glad you enjoyed the story up to that point. Sorry that part bothered you. Oops. Unfortunately every aspect can't appeal to everyone. There is a prequel to this story called When The Tables Turn that you might enjoy, though it has a small knifeplay scene in it as well, though shorter than this one. Thanks again, sweetcandyapple

This story is good and easy to read. The opening paragraphs hooked me and made me want to read more. There are a few really nice lines of dialog, too, that made a mushball like me sigh and go ‘arh’. For me, however, I didn’t really feel much involvement with the characters. I think it may have possibly been because, to me, their actions and emotions often seemed inconsistant. Others may disagree. The number of sentences begining with ‘she, he, or a character's name felt repetitive to me. Overall, it’s a good little read, but much like many. (7/10)

Thanks for the review. Also, I appreciate the suggestions, especially regarding the he/she overload. I looked back over the story and did make some changes and submitted the updated story. If you read the original story, When The Tables Turn, you might feel more a sense of involvement with the characters. There will be one more story in this series. That will be when Ryan takes his revenge for what occured in the first story. Hope you read and enjoy those. Sincerely, sweetcandyapple
