I enjoyed reading "An Unhappy Birthday". I thought it was well written and easy to follow. I thought the language used really added to the period it was set in. You definately have a gift for using the written word to make to reader see what you are seeing. (9/10)

The premise is somewhat unlikely, (that's nothing new around here ;-) but the author's use of language to lovingly describe eash lash is first rate. (9/10)

The author has a exceptional conduct of the language. On top of that, the way he describes the various torments to which the victim is submitted is filled with respect. (9/10)
